Amid the logistics 2024 problem, many companies are finally taking measures. Until now, logistics-related matters could have been left to the logistics departments of manufacturers and retailers (shippers), as well as 3PL providers and logistics companies. However, moving forward, with the establishment of Chief Logistics Officers (CLOs) and the advancement of legal frameworks, it is necessary for shippers and logistics companies to collaborate in improving the current situation. This will require not only upstream transformations but also an enhancement of the awareness, knowledge, and technical skills of the people working in logistics, as well as their managers and leaders.
